Alan then started his Consultancy business in 1982, which he has successfully run for over 25 years.  Clients worked for in the past have included some of the industry's largest companies, and on major projects such as Terminal Four of Heathrow Airport and the M3 Motorway (Twyford Down).

However in recent years, and since moving to Hampshire, he has concentrated mainly on working for sub-contractors and smaller companies, in trying to recover monies owing, settle disputes and referring disputes to Adjudication.

Alan took a keen interest in the introduction of Adjudication to the Construction Industry in 1998, and was a founder member of the A.I.C.A. (Association of Independent Construction Adjudicators) panel of Adjudicators, and has also acted as an Adjudicator when appointed by the CCS (Confederation of Construction Specialists).

Alan has had several articles on Adjudication and Contractual matters published in Trade Publications, and regularly reviews Bespoke Contract Terms for publication by the Confederation of Construction Specialists (who are attempting to draw onerous contract terms to specialist contractors' attention).

All work in the Consultancy business is carried out by Alan Webb personally, with the support of his wife carrying out secretarial duties etc
